We arrived in St. Louis and we are staying in the funniest rv park. It is basically a parking lot in the middle of the city. It is not bad since we can bike to the arch. We really threw Quinn to the wolves biking through the city. Had a couple of close calls but he is getting it. We are booked to go on the tram tomorrow at 1:00. Quinn wanted to make sure he got his beauty rest :) Today we rode down to the arch park and toured the museum after we bought our tickets and our national park pass for the summer.
Yesterday was a tough day of travel. There was an incredible amount of traffic when we left the state park in Delaware Ohio. Lots of construction and I think a lot of people starting their summer vacation due to the holiday week. We stayed in this state park in Indiana that was interesting. A ton of trees and the sites right on top of each other. We decided to set up simply and just leave at a good time in the morning. We have gotten into bad habits of up too late, eating dinner too late and getting up late. The time change was good for us LOL!
We did arrive in time for the last day of the Gay Pride festival. They love our VT plates and were very kind to Quinn as he was negotiating riding through some people. The dogs are doing well with the travels. The best part is locking them in the motor home with the air running why we go off to explore. Ziva makes sure she sits in the front to make sure everyone sees her cute pitty Lab face.
